Aerosmith Announces ‘Peace Out’ Farewell Tour

After more than 50 years in the music business, Aerosmith is hitting the worldwide stage for the last time.

The band announced their farewell tour, Peace Out: The Farewell Tour, starting with a 40-show North American leg starting in Philadelphia, PA on September 2, 2023. The touring band will consist of original members Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, long-time keyboardist Buck Johnson, and newcomer John Douglas.

The tour will not include original drummer Joey Kramer, who retired from touring in 2020 to focus on family and personal health. Instead, John Douglas will play the drums and percussion with the band, filling in for Joey Kramer on the road.

Their opening act and special guest will be The Black Crowes, an Atlanta-based rock band who have sold more than 30 million albums and are #92 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. They were voted Best New American Band by Rolling Stone magazine readers in 1990.

Tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM EST.
